They will guide you through every step of the way, from selecting your unit to receiving your house keys, all to protect your money, time, and trust.

GUIDE TO Sell PROPERTY IN DUBAI

The Process: Step by Step

Define a purpose

Decide if the property is for investment or living. This choice can shape everything else. If it is for investments, you will want to focus on high rental yields and resale potential. If it's for living, the community features, location, and lifestyle amenities will become a top priority.

Work with a Trusted Agency

Only partner with agencies registered with the Dubai Land Department (DLD). A good agency will ensure reliable delivery, realistic timelines, and full protection of your funds.

Choose Your Property Carefully

Don't just go by brochures. Check the floor plans and unit size, check out the views and location. Furthermore, you must also apprise yourself on the delivery timeline and price inclusions (appliances, parking fees, etc).

Sign the Agreement and Start the Process

The Sales and Purchase Agreement (SPA) is your legal contract with the developer. The contract sets your payment plan and handover date. It will also talk about settling your initial deposit, DLD fee and Oqood registration within 30 days.

Keep Track of Your Payment Plan

Payments are linked to different construction milestones and held in an escrow account for your safety. The full amount is not due upfront. Flexibility is a key player here, and you can manage the finances as the project progresses.

Final Inspection and Handover

Before getting your keys, have a snagging inspection conducted to ensure that your property matches what was promised. Once completed, you will receive your keys in the title deed.
After completing the final payment, you’ll receive the keys and access cards to your new property
